In December 2022 my husband was put on the waiting list for a much needed Liver Transplant. He suffered from Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. Unfortunately he developed complications and was in the hospital and placed “on hold” for his transplant. He and the medical staff fought hard but unfortunately he lost his battle in March of 2023. He was 46 years old, with two amazing children that will miss him tremendously. Chris was a kind and loving man whose life was cut too short. We tried hard to raise awareness in our community of Smiths Falls and I am continuing to raise awareness so others don’t experience the same tragedy as our family. Our community came together to support us and I am asking again for this support to help save others dealing with the same or similar issues.
