Challenging all Oakville residents to register as organ donors
Every year, more than 2000 people in Ontario have their lives saved or enhanced through the transplantation of donated tissue. People have their sight restored, their hearts and lungs mended, their organs revitalized and thier mobility improved through the generosity of others. Organ and tissue donation is available to all ages yet donations do not meet the urgent demand, with less than 25% of Ontarians registered. With the help of transplants, those affected can get back to healthy and productive lives in their families and our communities. I urge you to register consent to be an organ and tissue donor and discuss that decision with your family and friends. In making this choice you can help save the lives of up to 8 people and improve the lives of 75 more.
Let's work together and help improve the lives of our fellow Ontarians. I've signed up to help other familes; will you do the same?
