Dan Pfaff: Gift of 8 Campaign
My Name is Dan Pfaff,
I was born with Cystic Fibrosis- Cystic Fibrosis (also known as CF or Mucoviscidosis) is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder that affects most critically the lungs, and the pancreas, liver and intestine. It is characterized by abnormal transport of chloride and sodium across an epithelium, leading to thick, viscous secretions.
At the age of 16 I was in what is called "end stage CF" I was dying, without a lung transplant I wouldn't be here today. I received my first double lung transplant in the year 2002, this gave me time to continue LIVING my LIFE as a teenager. I faced needing a second lung transplant 8 years later in the year 2010. Once again a DONOR SAVED my LIFE!

Without receiving my transplants I wouldn't be here making MEMORIES with my FAMILY and FRIENDS! Please take the time and become a donor!
