Fatima Baig: Gift Of 8 Campaign
This is our beloved daughter Fatima’s story . “When I was 11 I received my first living donor liver transplant.I was transplanted due to PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis), I was well for 8 years but then a post transplant biopsy caused a fistula and in 2010 the fistula had gotten bigger and caused complication. In an effort to close the fistula my blood supply got blocked but eventually was compensated but due to all the trauma my bile ducts had been effected. Therefore i was listed for my 2nd liver transplant. I know how it is like waiting, i waited 3yr and 8 months and I also know how much difference a new organ can make in somebodies life. That's why I always encourage people to become donors. As the wait goes longer people, young and older have to endure long time suffering and some don't make it, which is why i want to put a end to the waitlist.
registration is a great way to be a hero and leave a legacy
