For GRH, a blood, organ or tissue donation is a great donation! We've partnered with Trillium Gift of Life Network and Canadian Blood Services to show our support. Every three days someone dies in Ontario because the life-saving organ transplant they need is not available, yet just over 30 per cent of Ontarians have registered their consent to be a donor. As Waterloo Region's largest hospital with a range of specialized programs, our patients also need more than 9,000 units of blood and blood products every year. We're asking every member of our organization to register their consent for organ and tissue donation – it can be done online in just two minutes, and you can do it right from this page.
