I was Diagnosed with diabetes induced kidney failure (stage 5) in June 2013. Also known as End Stage Kidney Disease. I Started dialysis immediately, 3 times a week, 4 hours per treatment. Waiting for a kidney transplant. I am Passionate about educating and informing about organ and tissue donation. I also Volunteer with Trillium Gift of Life Network, peer support and volunteer with the Kidney Foundation of Canada, and member of NBRH Renal Support Group
