I needed a new liver and I GOT ONE! I knew that i had liver disease for a long time, and I had been taking medication for it for over 18 years. But now, since i got a new liver and the life saving surgery to replace my old, diseased one, I can look forward to living a long and healthy life.

Life Is Good!

That's why I need you to register to be a donor and encourage all your friends and family to be donors too. One donor can save up to 8 lives and that's a powerful thing to do. I heard a quote once that went something like this: "Is life worth living? It depends on the liver". I think that life is worth living, I'm always talking about how I want to know what it will be like to be 80 years old, or older. I can look ahead now, to being 80 or more, because someone gave me the greatest gift of all. LIFE. Words cannot express how thankful I am. I know that the family of my donor is grieving their loss, i hope that they can draw some small comfort in knowing that their actions have helped at least one other person live.
