Welcome, we are a group of four practical nursing students increasing awareness of Organ Donation and its importance to our local communities. As nursing students we recognise the importance of organ donors in our area vs. the people waiting organ donations. Did you know that one organ donor can save up to 8 lives! Did you know 1500 Ontarians are awaiting transplants...did you know that less than 25% of Ontarians have registered to be an organ donor? We are asking our communities to register for the sake of their family, friends, neighbors and community. We need each other to spread the importance and the benefits of saving and enhancing many lives. Signing up only takes two minutes out of your day and gives much hope for a lifetime of happiness to spend with their loved ones. All information is confidential and you can update at any time. So take a moment, think, research, talk about it, share information and lets get motivated.
