"The Sarnia-Lambton Chapter of The Kidney Foundation of Canada believes more Ontarians should register as organ donors"
We are inspired to create this page in honour of someone special to our organization who has been touched by organ and tissue donation. We were very surprised to learn that over 1,500 Ontarians are waiting for a live-saving organ transplant but just over 35% of Ontarians have registered their consent to be donors.
We are asking every member of our organization to register their consent at beadonor.ca, and to ask their friends and family to register as well. It takes only two minutes to register, but could one day save up to 8 lives and enhance 75 more through tissue donation.
