Organ and Tissue donation is important to myself and my sons because 13 years ago someone in our family received the gift of life. My loved one was on the transplant list waiting for a liver transplant.....My 2 sons were very young when our family member was on the transplant list.....Life was very stressful and scary back then we often wondered if our loved one would receive the gift of life....Then we got the call that a match had been found....as excited as we were we knew there was a a long road ahead ..... but to know our loved one was going to have a second chance at life was the greatest gift of all.....We were so thankful to that family that donated there family members organs so that our family member had a chance....That is why it is so important to register and become an organ donor.
