We are inspired to create this page in honour of someone special to our organization who has been touched by organ and tissue donation. We were very surprised to learn that over 1,500 Ontarians are waiting for a live-saving organ transplant but less than 25% of Ontarians have registered their consent to be donors. The TLA is asking all of its members to register their consent at beadonor.ca, and to ask their friends, family and colleagues to register as well. It takes only two minutes to register, but could one day save up to 8 lives and enhance 75 more through tissue donation. Registering to be a donor might be the greatest gift you ever give.
