Every three days in Ontario someone dies waiting for a life-saving organ transplant, yet less than 25% of Ontarians have registered their consent to be a donor. It's really surprising, and it's not good enough. Especially for the 1,500 people in our province waiting for organ transplants and the thousands more waiting for tissue transplants. Unfortunately, Toronto's registration rates are among the lowest in the province. The University of Toronto is committed to doing its part. Through this campaign, we hope to recruit and register over 4,000 students, faculty and staff as new organ & tissue donors. Beyond this we want to inform and inspire Ontarians to join us and register their consent for organ & tissue donation – it can be done online in two minutes, and you can do it right from this page. Just click the red REGISTER OR CHECK NOW button. If you'd hope a live-saving transplant would be available for your friends and loved ones, please register today.
