I believe that becoming an organ and tissue donor is one of the noblest acts one could perform. And for the roughly 1,500 Ontarians who are waiting for an organ transplant, it could also be a life-saving one. Sadly, someone in Ontario dies every three days waiting for a much-needed organ transplant. Less than 25% of Ontarians are registered donors. Considering that a single donor can save up to eight lives and enhance up to 75 more through tissue donation, it's really surprising to me that more people aren't registered. I created this page to encourage all of my family and friends to register their consent to become donors. It's easy to register your consent to become a donor.
