There are about 1,500 people in Ontario who are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant, I know because I was one of those people. But fortunately for me, my sister became a living donor and donated part of her own liver saving my life. But what of the other 1499 people, who is going to save them. Myself and five of my friends will be running in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday October 19th, 2014, to increase organ donation through the Trillium Gift of Life Network. My friends and I (Team Perfectovir) are willing to run 26.2 miles to encourage all of my family and friends to register their consent to become donors.
